Recovery Point has been rated a Market Challenger for Mainframe as a Service (MFaaS) and Contender for Mainframe Operations in the ISG Provider Lens™ Mainframes – Services and Solutions 2025 U.S. Public Sector Report. For the study, ISG evaluated 29 vendors and services providers across four quadrants: Mainframe Optimization Services; Mainframe Application Modernization Services; Mainframe as a Service (MFaaS); and Mainframe Operations.

Of the 29 vendors evaluated, 12 qualified for MFaaS and 18 for Mainframe Operations. The 2025 report moved Recovery Point into the Market Challenger quadrant for MFaaS, which indicates that a company has a strong presence in the market and offers a significant edge over other vendors and providers based on competitive strength. ISG states in the report:
