Managed Resiliency is the New Name for BPR

Recovery Point is changing the name of our flagship fully managed recovery service from BPR (Business Process Resiliency) to Managed Resiliency, effective immediately. In addition, the corresponding management portal, with a dashboard overview, is being renamed from BPR Manager to Resiliency Console.

The change is in name only, so the same level of service and management insights are still available.

About the Service

Managed Resiliency is Recovery Point’s fully managed disaster recovery service designed to improve the reliability, accuracy, and effectiveness of recovery back to normal operations. This is achieved with a combination of our DR planning structured framework, professional services, automation, and frequent validation testing.

With Managed Resiliency, Recovery Point works in conjunction with the client to build the information technology disaster recovery plan (IT DRP) as an extension of their larger business continuity plan. The Managed Resiliency service allows Recovery Point to manage the logistics, planning, time, execution tasks, and testing required to maintain a valid disaster recovery solution in the event of a DR declaration.

Managed Resiliency is comprised of four main elements and is offered in two tiers—System and Application. The System tier provides recovery for the systems, and the Application tier builds upon the System tier and performs additional application recovery and validation once the systems are recovered.
